If you want to:
- Know more about AI Agents.
- Understand why many people think that we are at the beginning of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
- Start playing with AI Agents and see how they could make your life better.
Then you’ve found your corner of the internet!
I find myself having to repeatedly explain what AI Agents are, and why I believe that they will change everybody’s life within the next two to three years, and in some major ways.
This blog is also a way for me to put the gist of why this is important in one place.
AI Primers:
Watch the following two videos and read the following two articles if you want to better understand why AI and AI Agents are all over the press.
Whether you like it or not, whether you are ready for it or not, AI Agents will be part of your life.

The End Of Programming:
Rise Of “The Natural Language Computer”
Dr. Matt Welsh talks to Computer Science Students at Harvard - Oct 2023, and predicts:
- The end of programming as we know it.
- The arrival of “The Natural Language Computer”, that will allow anyone to build software using “Natural Language” (like English) as a programming language.
Programming In English
On December, 6th 2023, Google announced the arrival of Gemini.
I’m guessing that the internal code name at Google for Gemini was “Make-sure-that-we-can-wipe-out-that-smug-smile-off-OpenAI-and-Microsoft-people’s-face!”
The below video was the most jaw-dropping part of the Google Gemini AI announcement for me: a 3:32mn presentation on how to build a full-fledged working app in plain English!
This is still in the early stages, but I’m willing to bet that this will be how we will build things and get answers to our questions in the (very near) future!
On The Impact Of AI Agents On Work:
From Sam Altman:
The following prediction was made in March 2021:
Software that can think and learn will do more and more of the work that people now do.
(…)
In the next five years, computer programs that can think will read legal documents and give medical advice.
In the next decade, they will do assembly-line work and maybe even become companions.
And in the decades after that, they will do almost everything, including making new scientific discoveries that will expand our concept of “everything".
This is taken from an article written by Sam Altman - co-founder of Open AI and former president of Y Combinator.
From Bill Gates:
On November 2023, in a blog post: “AI is about to completely change how you use computers”, Bill Gates foresees the following:
In the next five years, (…). You won’t have to use different apps for different tasks.
You’ll simply tell your device, in everyday language, what you want to do.
And depending on how much information you choose to share with it, the software will be able to respond personally because it will have a rich understanding of your life.
In the near future, anyone who’s online will be able to have a personal assistant powered by artificial intelligence that’s far beyond today’s technology.
The Scenario I’m Hoping For
